Extended Warranty

AMG Employee Management, Inc. warrants your hardware unit against any repair need(s) resulting from normal use. For the period of warranty, all parts and labor required to repair your product will be covered as long as the repair need resulted from normal use as stated above.

AMG Employee Management provides free UPS ground shipping to your location under this warranty.

NOTES: Other methods of shipping are available at an additional cost. Such cost will be quoted to the customer at the time of request. ·        

For international shipments, custom and duty fees are not covered under this warranty.

Should any repair need(s) be identified, please be sure to do the following:

  1. Contact AMG Employee Management to troubleshoot the problem. If unable to resolve the issue, you are issued a Return Material Authorization (RMA) Case number in a form to return the unit to AMG for repair.
  2. Please print the RMA form sent to you by email and include it in the box.
  3. Send the terminal needing service back to the AMG Services Center.
  4. Upon receipt of product, AMG shall repair the product within five (5) business days and return to you by UPS ground shipping or shall send you a replacement unit.

This warranty does not apply in case of:

  • Product damage due to accident including, but not limited to, electrical work, fire, flood, water, wind, lightning, transportation, or any natural disasters or workplace accidents
  • Customer's failure to continuously provide a suitable environment for the hardware as indicated in AMG published installation guidelines including, but not limited to, adequate electrical power
  • Customer's improper use, management or supervision of the hardware unit(s) or failure to use the hardware in accordance with AMG published specifications
  • Customer's repair, attempted repair or modification of the hardware unit(s)

This warranty does not cover:

  • Hardware installation
  • Software upgrade
  • Firmware upgrade if available and if requested 

 

AMG Advance Replacement Program

AMG Employee Management Advance Replacement Program is an upgraded warranty service designed to minimize your business downtime in today’s demanding business environment. If there is a critical need for zero downtime, our replacement program makes it easy to receive a replacement hardware unit shipped out to you within one business day.

Program Specifications:

  • Next business day replacement is valid for US locations. Shipping to other territories may require more than one day due to customs.
  • Replacement and returned unit shipping charges in the US are prepaid by AMG. For other territories, AMG pays up to $50 USD for shipping the replacement unit. Customer is responsible for the difference in shipping charges of the replacement unit. Customer is also responsible for return shipment to the U.S. and duty charges.
  • Advance replacement coverage shall be purchased at the time of Premium Warranty purchase.
  • Advance replacement coverage is valid for the life of AMG Premium Warranty.
  • Occasional circumstances such as product availability, physical inventory or holiday shutdowns, may prolong shipping schedules. Customer Service will advise you in advance if such situations exist.
  • All conditions of AMG Premium Warranty apply.
  • Premium Warranty will be transferred to the replacement unit.
  • If AMG Employee Management and customer come to a mutual agreement, customer can exchange their unit for the replacement unit.  
  • If AMG receives the REPAIR UNIT within 15 business days, no charge is applied. If the unit is not returned within 15 business days, customer will be charged for the cost of the replacement unit. 
  • Similarly, if AMG sends repaired unit back to customer and the REPLACEMENT UNIT is not sent back within 15 business days, customer will be charged for the cost of the replacement unit.
  • NOTE: A valid credit card is required to validate this service.

 

How it works:

  1. Contact AMG to troubleshoot the problem. If unable to resolve the issue, you are issued a Return Material Authorization (RMA) Case number to return the unit to AMG for repair.
  2. If replacement request is received before 12pm, AMG will ship a replacement unit same business day. If the request is received after 12pm, the replacement unit will be shipped out the next business day.
  3. The replacement unit will be accompanied with a return label. Please use this pre-paid label to send the unit requiring service to AMG upon receipt of replacement unit.
